The Commercial Producer position requires experience working with Commercial Accounts of all sizes. Primary responsibilities include managing the needs of prospective and existing clients. The Commercial Producer will meet and exceed sales goals set by the agency; while managing the accounts they have written until their generated revenue substantiates assigning an Account Manager to handle service, claims and renewals.
As the point of contact for new and existing customer inquiries, the right candidate will skillfully address the client in a professional manner while building and maintaining those relationships, along with Carrier contacts through marketing and negotiating renewals. The Commercial Lines Producer will keep the agency management system current by documenting all contact with the client and carrier, as well as updating policy information per Agency Procedures.

Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent. Property & Casualty License. Qualified candidates will have worked at least 1 year in Commercial Lines, preferably in an independent agency setting. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task with a high level of accuracy. Self-motivated, with excellent organization and time management skills. Background in risk management and/or sales a plus. Strong negotiation skills coupled with proven sales results required.
