The Personal Lines Producer position requires experience working with Personal Lines accounts, including Auto, Home, Umbrella, and related coverages. Primary responsibilities include managing the needs of prospective and existing clients while delivering tailored coverage solutions and competitive pricing.
The Personal Lines Producer will meet and exceed sales goals set by the agency while managing the accounts they have written until their generated revenue substantiates assigning an Account Manager to handle service, claims, and renewals.
As the primary point of contact for new and existing client inquiries, the right candidate will communicate professionally, build strong relationships, and maintain client retention. This role also includes working with carrier partners to market accounts, review coverage options, and negotiate renewals.
The Personal Lines Producer is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within the agency management system, including documenting all client and carrier communications and updating policy information in accordance with agency procedures.
This is a remote 1099 independent contractor position that offers commission, profit sharing*, and bonuses* only. The agency provides many benefits including equipment, software, lead platforms, and additional support tools. A signed Producer Agreement is required. Compensation includes 50% new business commission and 50% renewal commission.
*Eligibility for Profit Sharing and Bonus is determined by specific guidelines and performance goals.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent. Property & Casualty License. Qualified candidates will have worked at least 1 years in Personal Lines, preferably in an independent agency setting. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task with a high level of accuracy. Self-motivated, with excellent organization and time management skills. Background in risk management and/or sales a plus. Strong negotiation skills coupled with proven sales results required. Must live in the continental US as this is a remote position.
